Rugby is a two year old purebred red/white Pembroke Welsh Corgi neutered male. He is about 28 lbs, has gone through obedience training and is current on his shots and microchipped. He came into rescue when his owners experienced problems even after training with his territorial behavior. They are planning to start a family and feel he is not suitable for a family with children. Two trainers have concurred on this and feel in the right environment with a very dog and Corgi savvy adult only no other pet home Rugby would do great. Part of his problem was being the only pup in a litter, being purchased at 8 weeks of age with no socialization with any other dog except his mother. Coupled with being purchased by an inexperienced young married couple who kept him further isolated from other dogs, his behavior became ingrained. His placement is limited to central and southern California.
